Roseanne is an American comedy television show that stars Roseanne Barr, a stand-up comedian. The show portrays a lower class family living in Lanford, Illinois. Roseanne is being accompanied by her sister Jackie, and her friends to keep the family together. Roseanne became the most successful TV series in the late 80's and 90's. The show received great ratings and 4 Emmys: 3 Golden Globes and 4 American comedy Awards. The show was aired from 1988 to 1997 on ABC.
